I’m Bola C. King-Rushing. I do lots of things, most of which are school-related at the moment, as I’m a graduate student (is that a job or an identity?). What more would you like to know?

I’m into SF, whether it’s the good stuff (The Matrix, Star Wars, Star Trek, Firefly/Serenity, BSG) or the bad stuff (Wing Commander, Starship Troopers, I won’t embarrass myself any further).

I’m in Second Life as Text Timeless, and I both work and play there. And don’t try to tell me there’s no “there” there; I don’t subscribe to the literalist-simplistic dichotomy between “real” and “virtual.” Matter of fact, one of my mottos is “Just because it’s virtual doesn’t mean it’s not real.”

If you want to know more, ask. My website died (damn fly-by-night host!), but I’m working on a new one. I can always add to this, but my ramblings are supposed to go in the actual blog posts.
